Hello Games announced that No Man's Sky will arrive on iOS devices on the 29th. The project, which originated from an internal suggestion following the Mac release, aims to bring the complete space exploration experience to mobile platforms.
The mobile version includes all content from the original game, featuring over 40 major updates ranging from Foundation to the recent 7.0 COSMOS update. Players can access features like large spaceship construction, as seen in the 6.0 Voyagers update.
Developers redesigned the user experience and touch controls for planetary traversal, flight, and inventory management. While the game supports external controllers and keyboard-mouse setups on iPads, some features remain limited; planetary settlements are restricted to iPhone 15 Pro models or higher, and online multiplayer is excluded.
The game requires less than 4GB of storage and supports devices starting from the iPhone 11 and 3rd generation iPad Air. It will launch with a free trial for the game's introduction, requiring a one-time purchase to unlock the full experience.
